I hate Casablanca. I am writing an essay on Casablanca. I want to stab myself in the eye with a pointy stick. That is all.

I am not dead. I feel like I should let all y'all know this. I am just very, very tired and very, very busy. =__= Soon. Soon, I will have an online life again. I am very much looking forward to it. What missed have I?

A note, before I admit that I need to sleep tonight and give up cramming for my test tomorrow: If you ever have to ask "Did I do something wrong?" Then yes, you did.
People make my head hurt.

Never apply to grad school.
You will want to kill yourself.
I have less than one week before everything is due.
Basically I need to have all this shit done by Thursday.
Someone please kill me for me?
FML.
Also, help me do something that makes me feel less like killing myself in between re-writes:
Choose any of my characters, past, present, future RP or my own work, as many as you want. I will give you a name, PB, and five facts for the children they will have, even if the character is unqualified to have children.

My online-ness has been pretty much zero recently, because of school work and grad applications. I also haven't really been watching the television shows I usually watch. I finished up some work tonight, decided to watch the latest episode of Glee since... well, people aren't really online at 2:45am PST, and am finding myself more and more annoyed with the show as it goes on. I'm not sure how much longer I can to watch it. I want to punch most of the characters in the face. The way the writers are writing Kurt makes me want to scream. Holy shit, this show annoys me.
Probably my biggest grievance is this: Vocal Adrenaline. Do you know why they're so good? Because they are an actual choir, not The Rachael and Finn Show.

Stole it from Kassie, as per usual!
1. Does your character believe in true love or soul mates? Love at first sight? 2. Are they or have they ever been in love? 3. What are their general feelings about sex? 4. How do they feel about sex without love? 5. What about sex before marriage? 6. What counts as cheating and is cheating forgivable? 7. Have they or would they ever cheat? 8. Are they a virgin? 9. First partner? Most recent? 10. What sort of experience do they have with sex? 11. Do they have any fetishes or fantasies? 12. How comfortable are they with their body? 13. With their partner's body? 14. Who gave them "The Talk"? 15. Do they have any special skills? 16. Post-sex habits? Weird habits? Anything else?

I AM A THIEF.
1. Which character of mine do you associate the most strongly with me? 2. What character types do you most associate with me? 3. What character or character type do you think I should play?
School starts on Wednesday. I have Tuesday off because it's orientation day for first years. I am so not looking forward to school. I mean, I get bored during the summer, but school is school. Which, of course, is why I'm signing myself up for at least two more years of it with grad school. I have to get up early every day but Wednesday, and then I work at the museum Mondays (until October 12 when the museum closes on Mondays until May) and Fridays until 5:15, plus any tours I line up. It's not a lot of work, but I'm not looking forward to balancing it out with my work load.
I'm taking five courses this semester: Film Studies 300 - Cult Cinema (Looking forward to it!) Anthrology 220 - First Nations of British Columbia (Basically what I give tours on at the museum. I have a really strong background in this stuff, but I looked up the textbooks the professor wants us to get and they're all sort of ecologically focused. Not my area. Not something I'm interested in. Let me write about Ellen Neel and argillite, dammit!) Creative Writing 411 - Lyric and Libretto (OMG not enough words to describe how much I'm dreading this class. Song writing. I can barely write poetry.) Creative Writing 407 - Writing of Drama for the Stage (I am looking forward to this class. so. much! I love the professor and I love playwriting and it's my only class on Wednesdays, so I get a gentle start to things!) Creative Writing 439H - Advanced Projects in Creative Writing (This is my fiction course this year. I'm a little worried and looking forward to it at the same time. I know the professor and, again, she's lovely, but... advanced.)

Comment here with prompt(s), character(s) for it/them, and you get a ficlet.
Pretty much anyone I've played is fine, whether from open games or PSLs, or characters I've talked about playing but never got around to.

Stolen from Kassie. It's fairly accurate, I think?
Your result for Roleplayer Test!...
The BiographerPlotful, Character-Oriented, Platonic Like the Portraitist, the development of your character is the most important thing to you when you roleplay. However, you like your development and relationships to have some kind of overarching plot: you're not the type to enjoy a dressing room or any kind of roleplay where your character can't grow in at least a semi-structured manner. You enjoy exploring your character's psyche, but simple exploration isn't enough: you like to discover and then implement and use, and therefore continuity (which gives you "why"s and "how"s) is very important to you. You struggle when your character has no solid base in which to put down its roots, such as in games where there isn't enough structure or ones where the plot is continually changing.
